We ate at Samses while visiting Zurich. The service was wonderful and accommodating for our changing reservation needs. The majority of their menu is vegan AND gluten free and the food and wine were delicious. If we’re ever in Zurich again, we will for sure be back!!
We visited Samses for a special dinner - and were unfortunately disappointed.
Samses is no longer Samses: the restaurant is sublet, which is neither visible from the outside nor very clearly on the website. “häppli” is currently rented.
Because there are "only" Häppli, we decided on the "menu" for two people with 4 Häppli each - for an impressive 68 francs.
The food was okay, but not outstanding - so the price was too high.
8 francs were charged for tap water.
Reservation recommended.
